Five Cellphones & Five Sim cards in Three years

I am totally a cellphone addict. My cellphone is with me every time. Even now it is on my computer table. Every time it keeps ringing saying "---- calling" and "Message from -----".

I got my first cellphone in my first year of diploma. It was Nokia 1100 :-p. (First Cell and First sim). I was very much ashamed to take it along with me. But I still managed it by hiding it from everyone and receiving and replying when no one is nearby. Later I requested my dad to bring me a new handset. He brought a new Nokia handset with Airtel Sim. (Second Cell and First Sim). I was very happy with it. I took it with me every day to college and use to call my mom everyday from there. Few days passed happily.

There were no pockets to my college uniform, so I was forced to keep it in my bag. One day while returning from college in my college bus, I suddenly noticed that my cellphone was not in my bag. My heartbeats stopped for sometime, I was taken aback. I searched it everywhere but was unable to find it anywhere. I was in a state of shock, eyes wide open and heartbeats beating more faster. My friends helped me, they started searching for my cellphone everywhere. They asked bus driver about it and started shouting 'kisi ko Nokia ka cellphone mila kya?'. I lost my first cellphone. I was crying for the whole day. Very much ashamed of showing my face to my dad in the evening.

For next few days I felt very sad and lonely. No more calls, no more missed calls, no more messages. Near about after 45 days me and my dad went to buy a new cellphone. It was Nokia 3230 with same Airtel number but new sim. I was very much happy. It was a multimedia cellphone, so I use to connect it every time to my computer and copy or delete something. (Third cellphone and second sim). I felt as if I had the worlds best thing with me so I took immense care of it. But the story doesn't end here.

Once my family decided to go for holidays to Jammu. They warned me to keep my cellphone at home because we don't need it there. But I made arguments and convinced them to allow me to take it with me. But my luck was not with me. I hope I had agreed to keep it at home safely. There is no point in regretting now. I lost my cellphone in the train, while moving from Nagpur to Jammu. My holidays were spoilt. Roads in Jammu was facing flood of my tears.

I lost my third cellphone and second sim card. Again bad days. No more calls, missed calls......... etc. After near about a month my results were out. My dad was very much happy with the score. I requested him to bring me new cellphone as a gift. He agreed but with little more arguments. He bought me new Sony Ericsson 310i with same Airtel number but new sim. (Fourth cellphone and Third sim card).

Later after few days I realized that Airtel calling rates were very high 2Rs. per call. So, I switched to Vodafone. (Fourth cellphone and Fourth Sim card). After few days my next sem results were out. My dad was very happy because I was topper in the college. My wish was same ' A New Cellphone' with mp3, radio, bluetooth, expandable memory, slim, black, 2 mega pixel camera. As I secured good marks, few of my relative send me money as a reward. I saved it for a new handset, but surprisingly my dad bought a new Sony Ericsson 55oi for me. This one was the best cell I ever had. Sony Ericsson ROCKS! (Fifth Cell with fourth sim).

The combination of Sony Ericsson + Vodafone is perfect. After few days my sim card validity expired and I changed my number and brought a new Vodafone sim. (Fifth cell and Fifth sim).

Therefore, the conclusion is
1. My DAD Rocks!
2. I argue a lot.
3. I am cellphone addict and
4. This is important one - 'TAKE CARE OF YOUR CELLPHONES'.
